Spirit

I first photographed the Snowy Owl a couple of years ago, and have been obsessed with them ever since – look at the incredible details in their feathers, the mottled black feather pattern is so beautiful. I wanted to include as much of that incredible detail as possible and capture the incredible mystical glare in his eyes.

I think the simplistic background really adds to the photograph, and I got lucky with the glint in her left eye. You can’t ignore the incredible beauty of this bird.
